The Costa Blanca has beautiful climbing areas, for both novice and experienced climbers. Novice climbers can climb the rocks under the guidance of experienced instructors and advanced climbers can choose from a difficulty level between 3 and 9c. Half an hour's drive from Benigembla, close to Can Elisa Tàrbena, there are 5 single-pitch climbing walls and 2 multi-pitch routes of 150m and 190m. All these walls have been maintained and the routes are bolted. You will find more walls with 200+ routes in the places Lliber, Alcalali, Calpe, Finestrat and Benidorm. The most popular is Peña Roja, also called Lliber after the local town. It is a prepared limestone climbing wall and has more than 40 climbing routes. Climbers from all over the world come to Lliber especially for this climbing wall. The routes are mainly on the northeast, so that climbing is pleasant even in warm weather. To be able to climb, you must provide climbing equipment yourself. No experience yet? There are various climbing schools and guides available that can offer you day courses or even weekly courses. Feel free to ask us about the possibilities.
